Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms govern the provision of tutoring and educational support services by Lumira Education, a trading name of Faculti Media Limited. By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Lumira Education provides:

• 1:1 and group tutoring (online and in-person).
• Off-roll and alternative provision support.
• Supply teaching services for schools.
• Exam and revision packages.

All services are delivered by qualified, DBS-cleared tutors.

3. Booking and Payment

• Sessions must be booked in advance and confirmed by email.
• Payment terms: 14 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
• Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.
• Invoices will state: "Lumira Education, a trading name of Faculti Media Limited."

4. Cancellation Policy

• 24 hours' notice is required for session cancellations.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.
• For supply staff, cancellations after 7:00 AM on the day of service may incur a full day's charge.

5. Safeguarding and Conduct

All staff operate under safeguarding best practices aligned with KCSIE (Keeping Children Safe in Education) guidelines. We reserve the right to terminate services if conduct policies are breached.

6. Liability

We are insured for public liability and professional indemnity.

However, we are not responsible for:

• Any academic outcomes or exam results.
• Disruption due to internet or technical issues beyond our control.

7. Intellectual Property

All teaching materials provided by Lumira Education remain the property of Faculti Media Limited unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on lumiraeducation.com.

9. Ownership Notice

Lumira Education operates as a division of Faculti Media Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 08403116).

All references to "Lumira Education" are understood to include its parent company, Faculti Media Limited, where applicable.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
